Hastings, MN is proud to host the 20th anniversary of this iconic event!

Celebrating two decades of high school hockey history, Hastings is preparing to welcome over 80,000 hockey fans for a weekend filled with thrilling outdoor hockey, community pride, and unforgettable moments. 

This milestone edition of Hockey Day Minnesota will be hosted at the United Heroes League complex, located off Ravenna Trail, providing a stunning backdrop for a one-of-a-kind hockey experience. Fans can expect a showcase of elite high school hockey talent, along with entertainment, winter festivities, and a vibrant Hockey Day Village.

Getting There

United Heroes League is proudly hosting this year’s big event, located at 2800 Ravenna Trail in Hastings, MN. Limited parking will be available on site. Attendees are encouraged to utilize the following shuttle & ride share options:

The United Heroes League complex is home to a professionally maintained, NHL-size refrigerated “Field of Dreams” rink that features a brand-new locker room facility, spectator bleachers, and a cozy bonfire spot for guests to gather and enjoy the atmosphere.

When you’re not watching hockey live at The Village, enjoy the many other amenities Hastings has to offer! 

  • January 17th is a kick off to Hockey Day MN with an Ice Sculpture Extravaganza in downtown, Hastings! Enjoy live demonstrations of ice sculpting while shopping and dining in Hastings historic downtown district on 2nd Free Horse & Wagon rides will run from 12 – 4 p.m. 
  • Spiral Brewery offers a variety of entertainment all week long in their family & dog-friendly taproom! Sip on their exclusive Hockey Day Haze-tings IPA in this community-forward, women-owned and operated brewery.  
  • Have you ever dined in an igloo? Lock & Dam Eatery has four outdoor igloos that provide a one of kind outdoor dining experience!  Reservation required. 
  • Visit the oldest winery in the state of Minnesota with a trip to Alexis Bailly Vineyard. They offer heated outdoor yurts where you can enjoy local wine and snacks in the vineyard. 
  • Warm up at the Confluence Hotel in their Riverview Fireplace room where they will be hosting watch parties on January 24th .  
  • Hastings offers a variety of family-owned restaurants with fun dining options.
